Introduction to Engineering and Design (IED) is one of the main foundation courses in the Project Lead the Way program. In this year round class you learn the basics of engineering, how to use your engineering notebook correctly, and the basics of designing software.
Principles of Engineering (POE) is a very broad course. While learning how to problem solve, collaborate, the design process and how to put everything together into a presentation, this year course is a very important class to any future engineer.
Civil Engineering and Architecture (CEA) is a year round class designed to teach people about the design and development of a site project. By using math, science, and other skills that one may have learned in prior classes, people are able to design and create commercial and residential buildings on a 3D design software called Revit.
